April 2024:
Stroll among daffodils. The cowslip remains.
Spring views in all directions. A pheasant crosses the path.
Near the dirt road is a flowering currant,
I haven't seen it before. It is new for this year.
Coltsfoot begins to cover the slopes.
June 29, July 13, 2023:
In the field north of the slopes, preparations have begun for the new stable.
Trees have been planted next to the gravel road.
Otherwise nothing new. As usual, a lot of mallow, loosestrife, Everlasting-pea.
Fireweed along the dirt road in the north.
June 9, 2023:
An evening walk. The peony, along the dirt road up towards the bulls,
may bloom in peace this year. It also has two more buds. Fine.
Go to find lupines on the northern and western slopes.
Almost none at all this year.
May, 2023:
A few short walks. The Nodding Star-of-Bethlehem is new.
Golden rain takes over more. Fruit trees are blooming. A small lilac.
On the Ladugårdsmarken in the north are lush rape fields.
April 30, 2023:
The only cowslip I find is the one on the north side by the dirt road up.
The one that was next to the path up towards the western peak is not visible.
Going up the steep path to the ridge towards the highway.
Mountain bikers try to ride it, they can't.
I think they should stay on their MTB course.
Walking on the ridge until the dirt road.
There is a small tree that I do not
know what it is. A narcissus shine up. The bulls are scrawled.
April, 13 & 16, 2023:
A few trips up and around the slopes. To my delight, the white balkan anemones
remain. Thought they disappeared when they built the MTB track.
On the other side of the highway, along Odarslövsvägen,
scilla and striped squil have been planted. Beautifully.
The La Strada estate has been cleaned up to later build a school.
On the slope towards the marl pit there were several Stinking Hellebore,
now I can only find one. On the slopes there is a lot of Colt's-foot.
On the northern slope I find some blue balkan anemones.
Different varieties of single daffodils.
April 6, 2023:
Grape hyacinth along the path up to the bulls.
Further ahead a yellow narcissus. A few scilla here and there.
A Star-of-Bethlehem struggles. Otherwise not much.
February 2023:
Searching for signs of spring.
13/2: Hazel och Winter aconite.
21/2: The first Coltsfoot.
June 13, 2022:
Exciting to see if the peony has eveolved.
Going to the dirt road. The yellow iris are blooming.
A pheasant crosses the road. Someone has cut the peony with a knife.
This year again. The only peony on the slopes
May console me that the poppies are blooming nicely.
Like a blue iris.
June 3, 2022:
Going up the slopes to see how the peony that was there last year is doing.
On the slope up to the bulls towards the highway, poppies are blooming.
A stock of Geranium. Fields of daisies along the path down to the gravel road.
A few columbines, not as many as there usually are.
I have not seen an common bugloss here before. By the gravel road is the peony.
It has a nice bud. Hope it is not picked like last year by midsummer.
Goes over to the slope of the forest curtain.
A whole lot of lupins. A lush Lady's mantle.
The stock of geranium remains.
Continues on the slope towards the fields in the north. Lots of lupines.
They are invasive, so I pick a bouquet.
A lonely columbines on the slope.
May 20, 2022:
Going for a little walk to see the bloom.
Finding a blue iris, two years ago I saw one that was later digged up.
Glad there is now another one here.
Walking on the ridge along the mountain bike path, no cyclists.
April 2022:
Between the gravel path up to the bulls and the mountain bike trail,
daffodils and white balkan anemones are blooming.
On the crest to the north are daffodils and a mahonia plant.
Going down the hill towards the dirt road. Riders come on the road
yellow anemone blooms, also wood anemones.
Follows the slope to the gravel road towards the fields to the north.
More of yellow anemones.
Up on the crest overlooking the fields is a purple paqueflowe.
Finds blue balkan anemone. Along the gravel road some cowslips.
I also find a blue-eyed-Mary.
February 2022:
The hazel bloom its small red flowers on the 8th.
Still blooming on the 13th. The first coltsfoot is seen on the 27th.
Otherwise, it's just the view to admire.
Spring and summer 2021:
Since the mountain bike track has been built,
it can be dangerous to go up to the bulls.
It has happened several times that the cyclists used the path up
to the bulls as part of the mountain bike track.
You have had to throw yourself into the bush next to it so as not to get hit.
On the ridge along the motorway, the footpath and the cycle path run parallel,
there is a symbol for pedestrians and cyclists on them.
Still, there are many cyclists you meet on the footpath,
"you can certainly cycle here".
There is more and more Golden chain tree,
they will soon take over in the places.
Found a small striped squill.
The cowslip remains. But there are many who pick flowers nowadays here.
The nice poppy buds barely had time to bloom, so it was picked.
Saw a nice flowering peony bush when I was running on the slopes,
but when we went on the slopes the next day, the flowers were gone.
You do not have to pick the only copies.
There is much more beautiful to pick. Cooltsfoot, lupine,
Broad-leaved sweet pea, daisy, different kinds of thistles,
grass, mallow, some columbines. Everything that there is plenty of.
Do not think the flowering is so good this year,
or was it picked too much of everything?
This year it was a big plum harvest.
There are also blackberries and some dewberry.
Could hear frogs croaking in the pond.
December 25, 2020:
Christmas Day evening
Looks like it's going to be a beautiful sunset.
Go up to the bulls to see if it is possible to get a good picture of it,
with bulls and light deer.
On the gravel path up stands a neighbor and takes photographs.
At the bulls and the deer there is a crowd.
Many who have had the same thought as me.
You can barely keep the corona distance.
It's not as beautiful as I had hoped.
But some pictures you have to take.
The colors disappear quickly.
The cold is pressing on.
December 16, 2020:
Mountain biker
Have a walk via the gravel road along Max 4.
From here, the light deer and the mountain bike track are clearly visible.
A mountain bike cyclist takes a picture of the bicycle and the deer.
Then cycle up on the ridge to the north,
then down the winding path towards the motorway.
A person walks in the track. Overcast today as well.
We continue our walk.
December 12, 2020:
Light deer
The light deer that can be seen at the summit towards the motorway
has been on for a while. Time to get up and look at it this year.
It stands nicely against the gray cloudy sky.
Typical weather so far in December,
so there will be no silhouette towards sunset.
A mountain bike cyclist comes riding at dusk.
Best to jump to the side.
A bead of car headlights down the highway.
December 1, 2020:
Mountain bike track
The mountain bike track looks complete.
The gravel path goes up to the bulls.
A bit up is an entrance to the track.
There, cyclists must cycle on the gravel path.
Then the track winds on the slope towards the motorway.
At the bulls, it reaches the gravel path again and
then also seems to continue on the path used by those who walk
on the crest on the hill along the highway.
From the gravel road between the slopes,
a lane is made by a machine, used to transport materials.
On the crest are stones and gravel.
The path on the slope down to the cycle path
also seems to be used to some extent,
where there are at least traces of bicycles.
Walk down the slope to gravel road past Max 4.
From there, the track is clearly visible, meanders on the slope.
The Christmas deer is in place.
October 25, 2020:
Mountainbike trail and automn colours
A mountain bike track has been started on the slopes for some time.
Can probably be good, if all cyclists will really use it.
It is cycled everywhere on the paths.
The track will be built on the side facing the motorway.
Wondering if it will take the path that goes up the ridge on
the hill towards the highway? There is a lot of cycling on it.
Many who walk there. We'll see.
From the highest hill it is a nice view, with a lot of autumn colors,
towards Lund and the Öresund Bridge.
July 7, 2020:
Summerflowers
A short trip on the slopes to pick a summer bouquet.
Rain showers hang in the air. Meets only two people,
first a child then a man. Along the mountain bike trail
n the way to the bulls, Soapwort flowers.
Next to the path are some red clovers, not often you see this one here.
Stands something resembling an onion plant, still buds.
Up by the bulls, empty beer cans grow.
Goes up to the second height.
Gathers a bouquet of flowers with seven varieties.
Full of Everlasting-pea of different colors.
Also a lot of oregano. Part of some kind of pea plant.
On the way down to the gravel road, the Valerian soon bloom.
Walk up the gravel road. Where they poured mud from what I think
is from the city park's cleaning of the ponds.
Dyer's weed blooms there, we have not seen it here before.
There is a light pink hollyhock.
The bouquet is filled, go home.
Grass is swaying in the wind.
2 July 2020:
Summerflowers
Now the Broad-leaved Everlasting-pea is blooming on the slopes.
Goes on the slopes to pick a small bouquet.
Everywhere you see it, so beautiful.
Mixed with mallows of different colors.
At the path along the height towards the highway and up to bulls,
bladder campion blooms. The Everlasting-pea glows,
the mallows are a joy to see.
There is loosestrife on the slope of the east hill towards the gravel road.
On the other side of the highway, between MAX IV and ESS,
the municipality has planted Phacelia. Great for bees.
The field is blue. Go there.
Blue blue with the slopes of the hills in the background.
Walk the gravel road between the hills back.
Lady's mantle and large fields with Rosebay Willowherb.
A beautiful blue geranium.
13 June 2020
Yellow iris
This really must be the last visit to the yellow iris.
Go up to the bulls, then up on the ridge towards the highway,
down to the yellow iris in the ditch by the gravel road.
On the ridge beautiful view with swaying grass down towards the gravel road.
Viper's-bugloss and daisy. More yellow iris are now blooming, look nice.
A big rug with them.
Go the path along the forest grove towards the student housing.
Dogwood blooms. This day there are no others on the slopes.
8 June 2020
Yellow iris
This may be the last visit to the yellow iris. Many are now blooming,
looking nice. A big rug with them.
Looking at buttercups, Viper's-bugloss and lupins.
Lupine is said to be invasive. There are some rainbow lupins here too,
it is not supposed to be invasive.
Do not know very well.
This day there are no others on the slopes.
7 June 2020
Yellow iris
Return visit to the yellow iris. More who are blooming.
On the northern slope of the hill next to the motorway
you can admire columbine, lupine and annual honesty.
Large fields with daisies.
Riders and pedestrians admire the view from the highest point.
Here and there arrows are drawn on the path.
At the beginning it is written "start" in capital letters.
Wondering why?
5 June 2020
Yellow iris
Goes up to look at the Yellow iris .
Riders stand on top of the slopes, clouds tower up.
Several of the yellow iris are blooming, several in bud.
May make more visits in a few days.
The Poppies are magnificent next to the gravel road.
Veronica blooms to the northwest.
A few lady's mantle.
June 3, 2020
When I was jogging on the slopes yesterday, I saw a blue iris on a place
that I had not seen any iris on before.
Today when I am going to take a picture of it, it is just a pit where I saw it
Someone must have dug it up and taken it with them.
Baffled we go up to the highest peak.
On the slope down to the gravel road is a light yellow iris.
Some columbines.
The large population of poppies has a lot of buds and some bloom.
A beautiful dark columbine near the road.
In the ditch comes Yellow Iris. Have not seen that here before.
Did it come with the masses when one cleaned the ponds in the city park and put dthe mud here?
A small bush on the slope next door is blooming, do not know what it is.
Guess some sort of hawthorn, perhaps Morden hawthorn.
Lupins begin to bloom. Walk the gravel road downhill,
outside the barrier are ice cream packages and napkins.
Dirty. On the slope up to the ridge towars the haighway are nice columbines.

January 23, 2020
Was in the newspaper about a car fire on the slopes.
How could it have gotten there?
Going up to the bulls.
Looking up the car along the dirt road.
It is blocked with a road boom.
Going down to the car.
On the way down you see strong wheel tracks in the mud.
The car is completely burnt out.
It probably burned without anyone seeing it.
Going down to the road boom.
Now it looks whole. Could have been different before.
Take the tour up the second hill.
Looks across the road.
A few days later the car is gone.

The Colt's-foot light up. Stinking Hellebore has turned up,
the number has decreased. Nice crocus at the frog pond.
Are there frogs this year? Dried out completely in last year's drought.
willow wets.
March 1, 2019
What are they doing now? Empty dye in the shallow with the small wetland.
Don't look wise. The wetland will probably be destroyed by this.
There is nice vegetation. Where does it come from?
Suspicion of the cleansing of the dam in the City Park.
December, 2017
The light deer that for several years during the winter stood on Clemenstorget
has this winter been up on the hills. Clemenstorget is being rebuilt
for the tram. On the hills the light deer is visible from the highway and has a
good view of the surroundings.
July 16, 2017

A number of Stinking Hellebore are in bloom. Some Butterbur found here.
Will probably be a large stock of it.
At the bulls are three snowdrops.
At the forest curtain a few Crocus chrysanthus.
It's an deposit of mass landfill, garden plants that have been come here with it.
21 June 2013 (Midsummer):
There are many who have discovered the meadow flora at
Klosterängshöjden. They come down with their midsummer bouquets. I think the
flowers look best where they are standing and am content to take some
pictures. I'm bad at the flora, many of them I do not know. Someone may be a
cultivated plant. A cat helps me a while. In the cultivated field to the north grow
oats. At the bus stop I meet a neighbor. She has from flowers in her garden
made a beautiful bouquet.
25 March 2012:
Spring is in
the pipeline. Colt's-foot have opened their
sunyellow heads. Klosterängshöjden's slopes lit up. The
height is still being
built, but soon it will be ready. In the fields to the north is the
planting season
started. The slope that was snow deposit a few years ago is full of
junk, but that do not disturb
the Colt's-foot. They bloom anyway.
Flora 2011: in July - August
2011 I walked a few times the gravel path up to the Bulls and studied
what that grew along the oath. A lot of interesting
species and some unknown to me. I
have tried to determine the species but may have done it wrong. Correct me where I
made a mistake or where I do not know. Hope the slopes will be
cut so that bushes do not grow and kill everything else.
September 1, 2011: The bush
with the bright red berries is Guelder-rose,
did not remember it before. The plant with the many yellow small
flowers I think is late goldenrod (or possibly
Canadian goldenrod). I was today and had coffee at "Klinta spices and
green" (south of Höör), and it grew there. I asked and it is
a goldenrod.
2 June 2011: Snow deposit
glacier has melted. Left is all the junk. On the opposite side of the
highway has the construction of the synchrotron light research
facility Max IV started.
Snow hill
29 Dec 2010: The city is
emptied of snow. Not that it melts, but because it is
transported away. Where? I see the answer, it builds up a new hill at
Klosterängshöjden. The new hill consists of brown-yellow
snow. Truck dumps the
snow, a bulldozer shovels out. It will probably not melt until the next
winter. More winters
like this winter and we get Sweden's southernmost glacier in Lund. I
look north
across the fields, the snow is shining beautifully white in the
sunshine. Hares have made a path in the snow. The Teasel have white
hats.
5 Jan 2011: Snow hill builds
up.
16 Jan 2011: The snow is
melting. The snow hill will darken.
23 Jan 2011: Walking up
Klosterängshöjden to see how the glacier has
evolved. It seems to have grown slightly since one week.
27 March 2011: What is hidden in the
snow coming up in the thaw. Or about how a
snowdeposit become a dump.
Defying
my cold, just have to walk a short round. Walk
to the snowdeposit at Klosterängshöjden. A small trickle is a
sign that it
slowly melts. Dark of the gravel. Lots of debris is located below.
Plastic,
glass, cans, beer cans, shoes, gloves, a hubcap.
Winter Photos
30 Dec 2010: It's humid. Seed
heads and branches of the trees are decorated
with snow. Lund is depicted in a strange gray scale. Marl is ice-and
snow covered. Horses passes in front of the houses in Ridfogden. At
home is a
rook sitting on the roof and is tired of the snow.
23 Jan 2011: Teasel look like
snow needles, with one of the iron bulls in the background.
Tulips
18 May 2010:
On the slopes of
Klosterängshöjden, towards the highway, has a large flower
bed with tulips been built. They should be blooming now. Is there on an
evening stroll. The tulips are blooming in full swing. Do not think
there are many of the thosewho pass on the highway is noting the bloom.
Goes further up and visit the ironbulls, they do look a little worn out
today. Continuing down the slope towards märgelgraven. Also
the rapeseed field is soon in full bloom.
Clouds
29 August 2010: Walk up to the iron bulls to study the in my view
interesting cloudformations.
