September 7, 2013: Rosengård - HIF 2-1
I do not know Malmö. I have to look up on the map where
Rosengård sports stadium
is located. Bus 5 from the railway station to Rosengård center,
then a short walk south. It's
great football weather. We're early. The teams warm up when we
arrive. The
supporters take place behind the team's cages. The teams march
in two
lines, greeting each other.
The match begins. Rosengård has kicked off. The coaches follow
the game. HIF
starts fine, I've only seen three miserable loss games earlier in
this year. Oops,
the outside of the post from HIF. Seems promising this. Double
chance for HIF,
goalie saves, head, goal. 1-0 to HIF. Rosengård change the
keeper,
apparently the ordinary was injured at the goal. Pause. I am
satisfied, seems
stable.
Go to the kiosk for a sausage. But a long tradition with grilled
sausage
during the intermission is broken. They have kebab and falafel. It
will be pause falafel
instead of sausage. New times.
Kickoff. Ah NO! Mistake, Rosengård player comes free and
elegently lobs the ball
over the goalkeeper into the goal. I have to go to the bathroom.
Meanwhile HIF
misses open goal. Mistake again, quick turn and 2-1 to
Rosengård. The home
crowd is cheering. So it was with the stability. A helicopter flies
over the
field. HIF trying to push on, but fails badly. Opens backward, neat
perfect
when HIF's goalie snatches the ball from the feet of a completely
free Rosengård
player. Some long throw-in from HIF is inconclusive. The end. Once
again a
loss. Coaches and players thank each other for a friendly match
without any
foul play.
The sky is blue with turbulent clouds. Disappointed leave the
supporter the arena. HIF
players feeling depressed outside the locker room. Many legs lead
into the
bathroom. I throw away the disappointment in the trash on the way to
the bus
stop in Rosengård center. Back in Lund is a Mexican salad
eaten and with a
franziskaner weissbier at the restaurant Godset at the station.
Before it was
deafening music from the speakers, today's the music is subdued.
