Almost misses the approach road to Lemmeströ, about five kilometers west of Skurup. Park where? Finding a lawn at the entrance of a farm. Perhaps you can drive into the road just before the farm and park by the country lane to the church ruin.

The county lane goes west, surrounded by cornfields to the ruin. Cornflower along the way. The grass grows high at the ruin. The church was built around 1200, completely in brick. Later, the tower and the porh of the cobblestone were built. In the 1700's the church was in poor condition. Parishes were combined, Börringe and Lemmeströ. New church was built in Börringe, and Lemmeströ church was ravaged. To people's resentment, military was called in.

Today remains a part of the tower and remains of the porch. In the grass you can find stones that look like tombstones. Hard to tell. Perhaps from the 16th century? To the east is a wooden cross. In front of it a stone altar.

The sun shine. It is hot. No note on the car where there is a complaint about the parking.
