August 9, 2008: I happened to learn about it when I was loking at football in Gantofta, and thought it looked nice. Then it had been dry for some time and there was little water in the stream. A week later, it had rained a lot, and when I went there to walk along the river between Gantofta and Råå, the river was then filled with more water. On the whole path, it is along the river, is a good pedestrian-friendly path. This was a day in August and the greenery was lush. The path and the river is taking you through an interesting character, mostly forest. The area is popular, the trail makes it easy for various activities such as walking the dog, jogging, and fishing. I asked those who fished about their luck that day, nobody got anything. The trail passes Raus Church. I went in to have a look, many pairs of eyes turned to me. But not the bridal couple at the altar. At the church has it since "time immemorial" been a fording place, today it is a pedestrian bridge. A memorial stone stand at the bridge. Before Råå leave the trail for a while the riverbanks, and goes on the slope above a pasture. Adjacent is a residential area. It then goes back down at the river. Much of wildlife I did not see. One person I met, we had a nice discussion about photography, claimed a heron would stand near the ladder. We saw it high into the sky instead. In the pastures were sheep, and before Råå was a black cat hiding.

When you are in Gantofta can also see the ancient monuments Gantoftadösen (a dolmen) and grinding grooves, just south of Gantofta.
