Drive onto the gravel road towards Långaröd. Nature reserve it says on the sign toward the gravel road. North of the road rises a hill 123 meters above sea level. Jällabjär. For 170 million years ago, it was an active volcano. At its peak, one can, if one is observant, see the remnants of the crater pipe. After a few kilometers on the gravel road leads a narrow road north to a parking.

Follow from here the trail Skåneleden to the top. At the car park is one of Skåneleden shelters. Adjacent is a juniper grassland. Looking for mushrooms. Looks most moss, common haircap moss? Continuing the trail. A stile leads into the pasture. Sheep and views west. Passing a stile into beech wood at the top.

Common stinkhorn spread odor. In an opening views to the north. The path followe a stone wall. Shortly after the highest point is a humble rock edge. An information board informs that the edge is composed of basalt columns that were once deep in the volcano, now solidified magma cracked in six sided rods. A certain feeling to walk on a volcano arrest.

From the top, we follow the yellow-white trail. Folds down north of the slope from the top. Through the hardwood. On a rotten tree trunk grows a mushroom, cauliflower mushrooms? Make a detour on the blue and white track. Packed in a clearing.

Adjacent is an old-growth forest. Looking for mushrooms. An enchanted forest. Do me a troll look out from behind a tree trunk. Going back to yellow-white trail.

A single wood anemone think it is ours. A cattle grid takes us into a pasture with cairns. Place for coffee. Make a detour on Skåneleden to a juniper grassland. Looking for mushrooms. A single chanterelle allowed to remain. Amanita also. Going back on Skåneleden to the parking lot.
