December 11, 2011: On Sandgatan is a sign "Hökeriet" showing towards Tomegapsagan. At the corner of St. Annegatan is Hökeriet, a small shop with old type stores. It is part of the musuem Kulturen in Lund. Opening hours are rather limited, Saturday-Sunday 12-16. In there are all type of goods. I'm invited to a caramel. I am looking for my annual buy of a Santa Claus. It will be an unusually large Santa who stands on the counter. A buy also a can of elderflower tea. Marmalades, teas, watered lingonberries. There are many things. The cash register is of the older model. From the ceiling hangs angels. The shop assistants says that on the first floor are two student rooms, convenient location. In the room behind the store is there a café. Sit down with elderflower tea and gingerbread at a desk, the only vacant seat. On the table is old account books. On the wall hangs a royal portrait and a christmas tapestry. I am suddenly alone in the room. In the shop arrive new guests. In summer you can sit out on the courtyard, I'll get back to the summer. Goes out in the store and thank the assistants for the visit.

May 27, 2012: Pleasant Sunday weather for a coffee at Hökeriets courtyard. Green tea with tistron, I learn that it is wild black currant, and a Swiss roll with jam and cream. In the corner of the yard there is a shed that was once the outhouse. Now there is no toilet, you have to go down to Kulturen for such cases. Before I go, I look down in the barrel of herring, which I had not noticed before. In it are salt herring, the clerk sat it is from when the grocery store that was here ceased in the 1960s. Durable, but even if I was allowed I would not like to taste it. In the window towards Sankt Annegatan are fine hats. Hurrying to the toilet at Kulturen.
