October 22, 2011: Nike - IFK Hässleholm 5-1

I'm not IFK supporter but HIF supporter. Why I'm going to Lomma to see IFK meet Nike in a qualifier for div 2? IFK won at home with 4-2. I think Hässleholm should have a div 2 team, and it's just ten kilometers to Lomma. First eat lunch at the fish shop Fiskboden in Lomma harbor. Weekend Special with fried sole. Despite the season is it weather to sit outside. Then we find the football ground in southern Lomma. Hmm, could it be here? Not many parking lots and no people, so far. Go down to the sea, waiting for kickoff. Sea birds are out in the shallow water.

Returning to the arena, it is the right arena. Paying entry. It's a nice green lawn with stands on one side. But wait, it's not here, but here, the match will be played on artificial grass next to the natural grass. No stands. Minimum space for spectators at the side lines. IFK's old chairman comes with a chair. Photo Agency photographer with a huge lens. IFK have supporters with a flag. In front of me stands an elderly lady with a chair for support. The match begins, even game. The lady needs no support when she rejoices 1-0 to Nike after about ten minutes. IFK have an attack which is averted. Then collapses IFK's defense. Goal again. A short while later, the lady cheer again. IFK supporters are silent. After half an hour, it is 4-0 to Nike. IFK blues.

Cafeteria is located inside the club house. In a display stand are prices that Nike has won. Buying two small boiled sausages. IFK make some changes, they improve. 1-4 and some hope. It is close to 2-4. IFK press. IFK loose the ball on the midfield, IFKs goalie is far out, a well made lob becomes 5-1. Nike is cheering. Hope fade away. The end is approaching and we set off. IFK will play in div 3 2012, too, Nike will continue in the div 2.
