Dansbanestigen
2.3 km walking trail with questions about the nature, in the wooded area where there formerly was a restaurant, station, dance hall, an amusement park. Now gone. A bird tower is overlooking the wetland.

October 23, 2011: Set the car in the parking lot at Friluftsgården, a former warehouse building in stone. It's time for a morning snack. Inside the cafeteria hangs pictures of how it looked before. I sit outside with tea and cake, it is wet with dew. In the woods next to Friluftsgården is a playground and one of Skåneleden shelters. A brook flows. Continue on the trail Dansbanestigen (dance floor trail). People are already out, walking, some are jogging. In the forest are small huts. The autumn leaves begin to color the ground. A sign tells us that here was the restaurant between 1895 and 1960, when it burned.

Tree trunks are fallen. The foliage high up is a swarm of finches around. Along the trail are signs of questions about nature. Information boards describe tree species. A leaf of aspen has landed on the board about aspen. In there is a swamp. An observation tower is overlooking a wetland, below the tower are people passing by. Go past a colourful pond. A sign indicates that here was the train station. No trace of it remains. It flows out with people, it's quiz. A trail departs towards Statarmuseet. Make a visit there before I continue through the woods. On the hill sits a troll, seems good-hearted. Even more people flows. On a meadow sit a couple and have coffee in the sunshine. I am back at Friluftsgården.

I drive to visit a friend. Drive home at dusk, the sun's rays are reflected in the windows of the University Hospital in Lund.
