1 May 2010: My lavender bed disappeared when the paths were remade at last fall. I drive to Tirups garden south of Lund. Forgot what type of lavender I had. I select 'Hidcote Blue'. I'm looking around, long time since I was here. Besides planting boxes, greenhouses, pots, there is a lot more to see. In one of the barracks is a shop, in the store are sold products based on spices. Teas, mugs ... as well. Outside are garden sculptures. A live cat is more beautiful to me. In another wing is a café. A display garden, not much has come yet, but it is usually fine. A little cat comes up and greets. In the southern part is quite a large playground. I do not try it, but it looks fun for both children and adults. Perhaps this is the reason why there are many families with children here. Some have seized on the pavilion. Lunch time. It is fully occupied inside the café. Families with children make large orders. I order a Tirups Lasagne and sit down outside on the terrace in the lee of the chilly wind. One can go up one floor, but it is not as nice as downstairs or outside. As it should is the Lasagne spicy. Drive back home and plant my lavender.

3 July 2010: The lavender bed is blooming nicely blue.
