October 16, 2024:
Almost empty in the large parking lot.
Take the path to the footbridge over the motorway, further past Fågelsjön.
Out in the lake is a flock of seabirds.
Go towards the curtain of trees in the north and to Badsjön.
Not tempting to bathe today. Dwarf everlast bloom.
Sitting down at a table for simple lunch.
A cormorant sits up in a tree.
Otherwise it's just us here.
Walk around Fågelsjön on the way back. Autumn announces its beginning.
December 12, 2020:
The large car park by the coastal road is almost full
Many like excursions and barbecues.
We walk through the pine grove.
A mountain bike trail passes. Next to the path is an ancient road,
a hollow way. Crosses on the bridge over the motorway to Fågelsjön.
Out in the lake are ducks and cormorants.
Goes north to Badsjön. This summer, a man drowned here. Today, no one bathes.
Not many people either. Some who have excursions and barbecues.
Everyone meets out these days. Overcast, but the sun shines between the clouds.
The sun is going down. In the meadow by Badsjön, heather flowers bloom,
giving a summer feeling in December.
Goes back to parking, which is now even more full.
10 October 2010:
Is heading for the ridge Söderåsen.
Becomes dense fog, can barely
see the road. Abandon the plan and turn west to Järavallen. Dense
fog here too. Pine
trunks are silently hiding in the fog. Autumn has come, the leaves are
coloring the gray view. Walk the bridge over the highway E6 which
divide the area. Continuing along the east side of the lake Fågelsjön,
one can slightly see the outline
of the lake. Follows a power line to find the lake Badsjön. Meet
hikers with dogs. Lots of dogs with owners are at Badsjön, there is some sort
of contest going on. Sit down for lunch, they ask us to move, they have added a hunting
prey in the vicinity. The dogs are disturbed in the "hunt" by us. In the north end
of Badsjön is prepared for more lakes in the former sandpit. Return along
Badsjön which in the mist has diffuse contours. The reeds sticking out of the water
is all one see properly from the lake, can slightly imagine the other side. A
birch in autumn colors glow in the mist. Going back on the west side of
Fågelsjön with frog ponds. The fog begins to ease. Crossing the road along the
beach and go out to the bird platform at the meadows, which are kept open by the cattle.
Geese and swans are flying screaming loudly out from and into the fog. Drive to
Barsebäckshamn, maybe the cafe in the port is open? No, probably
closed for the season? We have coffee and cake in the restaurant at Barsebäck
golf club instead. Now suddenly the sun is shining, sitting out in the sunshine and enjoying
the warmth.
