Drive through Veberöd. Just to the east at the end of the community,
on the south side of the road, is Hasslemölla farm with a water mill.
Parks the car next to the yard.
Goes between the residential building and the two utility buildings
to the water mill. The farm is today owned by the municipality of Lund,
which has plans to do something with it, probably going slowly.
A man from the municipality shows the mill to a school student.
The mill is mentioned in the 17th century but exactly
when it was built is not known.
The mill stopped for good in the 1920s and fell into disrepair.
It has since been renovated a few times.
Upstream is a dam with flow to the water wheel.
Downstream, the water flows towards Klingavälsån.
The mill is open so you can look into it.
Bridges lead over streams and we walk a path up the slope to the east.
Turns and walk again past the buildingss. A path runs along the field
in the south, it is perhaps possible to walk away towards Körsbärsdalen on it.
There are plans to build trails,
e.g. to the stork enclosure at Hemmestorp's mill.
On the western building there is place for storks to build nests.
A cat hunts on the slope to the west.
Walks around the main building, from the latter part of the 19th century.
Snowdrops bloom. A lamp shines in a window.
Carpentry joy and sundial.
One can hope the farm does not fall into disrepair.
