Apples, dahlias and geraniums
Takes the car in these corona times, not so many in the parking lot.
Walk first through Crown Princess Margaret's flower street.
Next to the crass passage is an installation with apples,
the last of "Four shades of late summer".
Tables full of apples, about different varieties, about apples at Sofiero,
a recipe for apple cake.
Continue on to the Dahlia district. Beautiful dahlias in abundance.
Stands in many groups. A lot that wanders around among the plantations.
In the orangery is an exhibition about geraniums.
Corona limits the number of visitors. Right now, it's almost just us.
A table, a wall full of geraniums. Pots scattered.
The sun shines. Goes to the restaurant. A table is vacant in the sunshine.
Today's lunch, salted salmon. Excellent and good food in the sun.
On that coffee and cake.
Before returning home a visit to the garden store, buy flowers and watering can.

Sofiero light festival
Train to Helsingborg. Eat a good lasagna in restaurant Marconi on
Drottninggatan. The bus to Sofiero Castle. The darkness is . Torches
are lining the
aisles, lots of torches. Parts of the castle is illuminated. Goes to the
rhododendron ravine towards Öresunds. According to what I read in
the advertising will it be enlightened. Pitch Dark. Disappointed. Asks,
"Well it should not be lit." Walking around in the park. Trees are lit. Lawn
red. Hedge illuminated with side light. Many people in the Orangery, which is
inspired by the Mediterranean including ceramics. Many also in the winehouse
demonstrating porcelain. Looking into the garden trade. Outside is a tub of water with
apples and torches. One can warm at the fires, and grilling Marsh
Mallows. At the pond is an installation with light, smoke, and music.
At the
entrance are carpets in the form of light projections. Take coffee and
cake in
the café. Then go home. Two police cars are at Knutpunkten in
Helsingborg, but it
is quiet, no celebration. Suspect Malmö FF have won the football
league before
Helsingborg. The final game today.
