Arrived at ten o'clock. Want to be sure to get a parking space,
in these days of corona many are out. Think most will come later.
In any case, there is plenty of space in the parking lot in a pine grove.
Goes over a stile into the meadows. On these beach meadows,
cattle have been grazing for hundreds of years.
At this time of year, it is the cowslip that attracts.
There will also be Bird's-eye Primrose and the orchid Early Marsh-orchid here,
but for them it is too early.
These are beautiful meadows, stone fences run down to the sea.
cowslip and some pasqueflower bloom on the ground.
In some places it is full with cowslip. On a headland it is completely yellow,
can it really be cowslip? Looks like that through binoculars.
So we go there. It's a sea of cowslip.
More than we who admire it. Returns. Meets a party.
"Is it cowslip that glow yellow out there?" they wonder.
We can now answer yes to that. At a stone wall, hepatica still bloom.
The stile towards the parking lot is blocked by a herd of cows.
May take a detour around them. Many others do the same.
We have lunch at a table in the grove of the parking lot.
It is now full of cars, good that we arrived early.
After lunch we walk the paths in the northern parts.
Past stone fences and meadows with cowslip.
Occasional pasqueflower. Nice weather. Coming down to the sea again.
The cows have moved there. Goes up to the parking lot.
Finds a small wetland, sees no Bird's-eye Primrose there.
But it's probably too early. Crowded parking lot.
