Take off towards Lönsboda at Osby north. Just before the junction with the road between Lönsboda and Glimåkra, a narrow gravel road goes north to Hägghult's quarry Not signposted, is that right? Follows it anyway. Coming to the quarry. There is a large parking there. Here, diabasis was mined, the old quarry is closed. Mining occurs in the northern part. The quarry itself is water-filled. The surroundings are a work museum over time for the diabasic mining. Diabas is a popular material among artists. Here are works of art by various artists from several countries.

Pay SEK 50 on entry into the restaurant. First walk a round. You can rent a raft if you want to go out on the water. We don't want that. Behind the restaurant is a sound game in diabase, trying to play. Unmusical, so it doesn't sound good. At the serving stands the work Krutgubbarna "Tough old boys". Trying to be similar to them. Along the quarry are crane huts, you can go into one of them. Pretend to be a crane driver. It is closed off towards the edge, except for some viewing areas. Looking into a smithy and barracks where the workers ate and rested. Adjacent is a large stone cube of large boulders, called the "Cube", seems to be a foundation for something. Large scrap heaps are scattered. Take the road up past the "Sun Wheel", sight lines towards the sunrise at equinoxes solstices. A rusty wagon on rails. An offset pyramid. At the top is a suitcase with a view. Down to a ledge with various works of art, such as Lifelines and the Diabasque woman's song. Among them a smaller maze. Further along the road past "My consciousness" and a larger maze, then out on a plateau of scrap stone with steep slopes and views.

Time for lunch. They have potato pancake! A woman wonders if she should dismiss the chef. "Not today, that's good!". Goes one more round and discovers more. Adjacent is Stig's accordion museum, accordion is not a favorite. Finishes with coffee and waffle. Follow the sign "Lönsboda" back, a major dirt road out on the country road just south of Lönsboda. Drive home via Broby - Hässleholm.
