Coming from the south on road 118, in Yngsjö we drive onto Gamla byvägen,
then a longerpath on Lillesjö vägen to Ålakustvägen
where there is a parking lot for the nature reserve.
We follow the blue-white trail towards the coast,
through sparse pine forest, carpets of lichens and mosses.
Past high sand dunes.
We look for the small pasque flower. It may be a little late
There is one and another one. About to be over-flowered,
but still nice specimens. Passing open sand lands.
Soon we arrive at the nice sandy beach.
It is blowing hard, waves are breaking on the sea,
otherwise the weather is nice.
A few people walking on the beach, some with dogs.
No one swimming. We go north inside the sand dune sheltered from the wind.
More small pasque flower, many with nice seeds.
We also find flowering sand pink.
Turn off the beach at a fort from the Per-Albin line
from 2ns world war. Take the path to the large parking lot to the beach.
Follow the road to the nature reserve parking lot. Several small pasque flower
along the way. Drive to Yngsjö smokehouse and eat fish & chips.
