Forsakar is a popular place for excursions. In a 40 meter deep, narrow
canyon is a brook with two waterfalls, the first and highest one is about 10
meters high. This is the most wellknown waterfall in Skåne. The
first fall is about 500 meters from the entrance of the canyon. There
are trails both at the brook, and around the canyon. On the slopes grow
beeches. Forsakar is nearby Degeberga, and there is parcing place,
restaurant and hotel.

Awakened by a crash when a pot fill to the ground.
The wind howls. Freya storm is raging.
Calms down in the morning.
The sun is coming out.
Enough to go in Forsakar canyon.
Drive there.
Starting with walking trail up on the canyon edge.
Visit the platform overlooking the lower waterfall.
On the bridge over the upper waterfall.
After that lunch and coffee in the sunshine of a clearing.
There is a risk of falling branches and trees in the ravine.
Therefore advised not walk the path along the brook to lower waterfall.
Many people do it anyway.
The wind has calmed down.
Most of the autumn leaves were blown away from the trees.
Seems to be a lot of water in the waterfall.
To be in Skåne an impressive waterfall.
On the way back visit to Kafe Kagan in Kagarp's residence.
Colour of yesteryear, shop with things for building conservation.
Hens welcome.
Fine in the store.
The cafe has closed for the day.

The parking is almost deserted. The kiosk and the bath is closed. Looks
nothing about the opening hours of the restaurant but the tables are laid. It
advises not to take the path in the valley because of the risk of collapse and
that trees could fall. That no one cares about.
Meets a Danish couple who come up with wild garlic roots. Shame. The trail
into the canyon winds under the precipices along the creek. In some places the
precipice is a cliff. See no trees about to fall. At the lower waterfall is a
photographing couples. They leave soon. Has then the waterfall for
ourselves. It's a dead end, even if it is possible with little effort and
ignoring the ban climbing the steep slope to climb it. But we take the path
back to take the path up on the edge.
Encounter a busload Danes who is entering the valley. From the edge is most of
the valley of trees hidden by trees. The Danes are seen down there like a
necklace. Soon the valley will completely be hidden by greenery. At the lower
waterfall have been built a ramp over the waterfall. Below the waterfall is
visible as a trickle and the Danes are like ants.
Continuing on the bridge at the upper waterfall. It is not as large as the
lower. On the other side is a rock to sit on for lunch. Go for a walk in the
woods. No anemones or hepatica. Sitting at the path along the precipice with
coffee and cookies from Vollsjö bakery. Steep stairs down to the parking
lot. A busload Danes leave.
