December 30, 2011: After the walk to and from Ekeröd grave field I'm hungry. The restaurant at the rest area Ekerödsrasten is run by Ekeröd farm, they serve meat from the farm. The daily today is Wallenbergare with peas and potatoes. I refrain from most of the potatoes, and get an extra Wallenbergare instead. Fill a small plate from the salad table. It's really good. Behind the restaurant, they have a meat shop. You have to go out and around to the back. "Want a piece of meat for freezing," I say. "You will not freeze quality meat, it destroys the quality." Hm, then chooses a piece of roast beef to have on New Year's Day. Pays and goes out. If you want you can stay over night here, there is a motel and a campground. A couple stands and cuddle the goats in an animal enclosure. Adjacent is a playground with swings and a slide. Climbing up the slide. Do I dare? Tjohej! Ouch ouch o, I crash lands. That I will not do any more, the mind is young but not the body. In a grove of trees is a picnic table for those who have their own food with them. I sit down and catch my breath before I take the bus home.
