21/6 2009: I cycle to Sankt Hans hills of northern Lund. Previously, it was a dump, who knows what is hiding here. There have been some writings on deformed fish in Vallkärra stream. The tip is now a popular recreation area. "Here happens something new" does an information board say. It was probably a long time ago, the rest is illegible, bleached and scribbled. One has established a stream, it winds its way through something that should be flower meadows. I head with the cycle time towards the hill, and comes out below the highest point. Thirty-five years ago, I ran here, up and down, up and down the hill. People do that today too, but I walk up today. In the west is Öresund seen. Although the vegetation has grown up, it obscures the view, there is a view in all directions. In the haze is Turning Torso and the Öresund bridge in the south visible. To the east Norra Fäladen and Norra Ringen, in the north is the residential district of Annehem area. There are paths, lawns, and shrubs. I follow a path through the bushes to the burrow where majbålet usually is. At a height was formerly information boards about the Battle of Lund. They are gone, but the sign 'Battle of Lund' pointing up to it remains. For what? On a lawn do archers exercise. Bikes on to the pond and pastures at Annehem. A pair of swans have seven kids. They are trying to create flower meadows. Horses and sheep pastures in the meadows.
