A walk to the lonely tree, the mound Svenshög, and Ladugårdsmark trail.
10 Jan 2010: Gives me out on the fields north of Lund. An icy cold wind. I would like to visit the lonely tree in the middle of the field now when the ground is frozen. It is many years since my last visit. Years and the weather has been rough with the tree. What appears to be dead branches is stretching for the sky. At the bottom seems to be some life. I leave the tree and walk to Svenshög, a small mound. From it one have a good view. I wave to the lone tree. In the northeast is a man made wetland, I go there. The bulrush are frozen stiff. Walk around the pond. A surface is a plowed. Skating tracks are seen in the snow. At a corner of the pond are places to sit. Returns on the Ladugårdmark trail, which is a footpath on the fields. The wind has created hard-packed snow banks, mixed with soil.
