14 August 2009: My favorite team play in Svalöv 19.00. I park the car at the lake Svalövssjön. Beautiful weather. Feels good. I walk to the football ground, tickets for 50 kronor are purchased at a small table. The players in HIF is warming up, looks promising. The audience sits down on the benches at the long side. Ball kids are ready. The match begins. Svalöv has the initiative. Not much happens. Svalöv scores suddenly a goal. What happened? HIF continue to have difficulties with the Svalöv defenders. 1-0 to the home team in the break. On the lawn at the entrance are grilled sausages. One must eat hot dogs during the break. Approved. Offside, the linesman is waving. HIF attacks again, a good one, dangerous. Gooaal! I'm doing the wave. Otherwise, not much happens at Svalöv's goal, the ball kid is idle. Second half is similar to the first. WHAT!?? The referee finds a penalty for Svalöv! For what? 2-1 to Svalöv. Svalöv's goalkeeper looks calm. I buy one more sausage,  I have not eaten dinner. HIF try ahead but is stuck in Svalöv's defence. KLONK! Svalöv shoot in the post. The match is over, heavy loss, the home crowd is cheering. A friend is calling, I tell the sad outcome. A coffee mug, is flat and brutally down-trodden in the grass, more than me who are frustrated? I loons back to the car at the lake Svalövssjön. Darkness falls. Suddenly a dog is at my side, it gives me comfort.
