Pictures from Skåne - Sweden - Heinge recreational area

26/4 2009: The time is nine when I turn onto the narrow gravel road to Heinge recreational area north of Lövestad. I put the car in the parking lot which is beside a red little house. I go into a field, then a stony path at the edge of a forest with Wood Anemones, Lesser Celandine, and birdsong. The path get better. On the other side, I have a height. I slide on leaves down a slope. Downstairs is a clear-cut forest. In the distance I can hear seabirds. I walk up a slope in the forest, down and up, passing through an opening angle in a fence. Between the beeches get I a glimpse of a water surface. Wood Anemones dazzle. The trail goes away from the lake, I go down to it for a look. It is overgrown here in its upper part. Returning to the path which continues under trees at the edge of a field. Coming to a shelter that is at the top of the beech-covered slope to the lake. In the field opposite do the Pasqueflower bloom in full swing. The field and the forest are separated by a low stone wall. It is a beautiful place. The trail goes along the field and wall. It leaves the lake to go through the pastures, tree groves, Wood Anemones, Lesser Celandine, and Common Dog-violet. Between a marsh and a grove, it is wet. Coming to a field where the bumble bees and butterflies swirls around. At the stile to a juniper field is a sign announcing that here are grazing animals and that they are friendly.

Here, I leave the recreational area on my Skåneleden hiking: Knösagården - Heingetorp. I return the same way.

At the lake in Heinge recreational area I go down to the water, goes along the seashore. I sit down for a short rest. I can hear voices from somebody that probably fish on the other side of the lake. I hear and see a Black Woodpecker drumming on a tree. From the car park I walk the gravel road to Knösagården. On the way, I get the company of a cat, it leads me a few hundred meters. It is a beautiful cat. In the end it jump into a garden. The road goes past pastures. A valley is spreading east of the gravel road. Passing through a beech grove and I am at Knösagården, a house which seems year-round occupied. Here is the end of the road.
