Cycling down to the station. Outside are nice summer urns. Train to Hässleholm where my friend meets. Goes straight to Österås, the match starts at 1 pm. No lunch, have a sausage before the teams march in. Sitsdonw in the stand. Decent crowd, officially 501 spectators. See a nice first half by HIF. In the 16th minute HIF makes it 1-0. They press on. Ten minutes later a free player, a twisted ball that the goalkeeper can't reach and 2-0, so beautiful. Nice summer weather, family with children has drinks with them. In overtime before the break, HIF presses in 3-0. Skip the traditional sausage at half-time, I've already eaten one. Goes to the long side with standing place. Not much happens going forward, especially not for HIF. In the 55th minute Skövde shoots in 3-1. So it's still nerve-wracking, but HIF's defense holds out. Not much happens before the final whistle. Fifth straight without a loss. HIF has climbed the table before the summer break. Goes to Bishop's Arms for food and beer before heading home.
