Cycling down to the railway station where I am picked up for shared car journey to Hässleholm. Breaded plaice fillet at Casablanca, with a beer. Then walks through deserted town, past the Qpool. Sports hall, where I practiced a lot of badminton, athletics and football in my youth. Then along Göingegatan where my parents first lived when they moved to Hässleholm, now they lie in the burial ground at the end of the street. We arrive just in time to Österås, where the match against Kristianstad FC is to start. Kristianstad has an active cheerleader. HIFs are significantly quieter. It's a good match, several chances for HIF who are the slightly better team. A few chances for Kristianstad. Both teams have good goalkeepers. Shot from the penalty spot on goal. The Kristianstad crowd falls silent. 1-0 to HIF and break. A sausage as usual. The Kristianstad claque burn Bengals. Puts us on the standing side. Second half a lot of play against HIF's goal. A bit whiny on the plane. HIF player is expelled. Kristianstad gets more ofthe game. Long good hard shot from far away, the goalkeeper throws himself in vain. 1-1. HIF gets a great chance at the end.
