Take Route 11 towards Simrishamn. Heads south in Gärsnäs towards Hammenhög. Just after the railway, a small paved road goes west towards the farm Ulriksberg. Drive across Komstadån at Rogevadsmölla. Park shortly after on the west side of the road. There is nothing to say that out on the field there is a larger stone ship, Stenhed Follows the edge of the field a few hundred meters. There is a grassy area that goes out to the stone ship. A large ship of 52 x 14 meters, 30 stones. In the southeastern tip are three stones in a row within the ship's setting. Everything looks well preserved. To the south is a beautiful alley to Ulriksberg's farm. The sun is shining and there are beautiful cloud formations. No other visitors. We can study the formation in peace and quiet. A fine stone ship, a grave site from the late Iron Age about 600-1000 AD. In the past there has been one more, but it is cultivated. On the second stone in the southeast corner are rock carvings in the form of bowl pits. Luckily the sun is in the right direction to provide shade in the pits. Drive in to Gärsnäs and eat Alla Hjärtans pastry at Norrman's conditori.
