Pictures from Skåne - Sweden - Rönneberga hills
10 May 2009:
I fetch my good friend at Tågarp railway station. We drive to
Rönneberga hills south of Tågarp. Here are many bronze age
graves on a hill. It has a nice view of the landscape. In the west is
Landskrona and Öresund. The
biggest mounds lies northwest of a farm, in their garden. We follow the
field edge to get there. Large trees are growing on them, one seems to have
become a food cellar. A bit out in the field is a lonely mound. We see far
out over the Scanian agricultural landscape. We slip into the garden for a
walk among the mounds. We return to the 'public' mounds for having lunch.
We continue to Ottarp for a visit to the church. Two fine cats do join us.
Tarzan and Zorro are their mames say a little guy. I have cat abstinence,
we have a long pet time. They finally get tired of us and leave. We drive to
Flinckman's café which is on the way to Sireköpinge. Flinckman as in the artists
After Dark. The walls are decorated with the posters and pictures on the
After Dark. Is it not Flinckman himself sitting at the table over their? We
take place in the garden with coffee and apple cake. The café is
located next to Sireköpinge stoneware. We go in and look at the
beautiful pottery. I leave of my companion on Tågarp railway station and drive home.
