A dirt road leads to a fairly large parking lot. Information board tells about the gunpowder factory that once existed here. It began in 1682 and ended in 1923. Here one had the water power from Helgeån for the manufacturing. The area is like a park. Walks into the park to what used to be powder magazines one of which is the oldest house left. Says 1692 on it. On the other 1828. Goes a somewhat odd path, out again and across the road to what was the weighing shed, here the gunpowder was weighed and packed before it left the factory. Further up to the farm, with what were workers' longhouses from the 17th and 19th centuries. Around the area was a protective wall, part of which can be seen here. Goes into the forest past the sweepingshouse. Explosive gunpowder dust was stored there. Behind the trees, the Helgeån and a water chute can be seen. Coming out on Krutgatan with the gunpowder factory buildings, the power for the manufactoring was taken from the water chute. Everything was surrounded by protective ramparts. At the end of the water chute stands a memorial. There are also remains of the turbine housing. A little further away is the "Incorporation works", a house that was used to mix the gunpowder. We walk on the path through the deciduous forest back to the parking lot.

Drive into Torsebro to see the stone arch bridge over Helgeån. The four-arched bridge was commissioned in 1836. We end at Harastorp's café. The last egg cake is ordered by the customer before us. But there are more people who want so they make more if we want to wait. We want that. Sitting on the outdoor terrace.
